WRetreat & Spa Bali -Seminyak - Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide's fourth W Retreat and the first W property in Indonesia - aims to defy conventional ideas about what guests might expect not only from a resort in Bali, but also from resorts as a whole. The new-build property, which opened March 1, features 237 guestrooms including 79 private villas plus public spaces covering more than 333,000 sq ft (31,000 sqm). "As much as W has redefined the hotel experience over the past 12 years, it is now reinterpreting the meaning of resorts," says Eva Ziegler, global brand leader, W Hotels Worldwide and Le Meridien. "Each W Retreat & Spa is inspired by its destination, mixing cutting-edge design with local influences."
