Orlando-based Intelity has launched a product that piggybacks on the concept of in-room computing and virtual concierge but which also gives hoteliers an in-depth view of sales trends and on-site marketing successes. The Interactive Customer Experience Solution, or ICE, is an in-room concierge and back-end monitoring system that tracks and measures all hotel activity at the touch of a button. ICE offers a customizable, branded interface that lets guests arrange hotel services via touch screen or personal laptop in real time. Meanwhile, ICE enables hotel staff to instantly modify prices and send messages to guests and employees, either for strategic up-selling or to streamline operations and track service staff.
