Dubai Istithmar means "investment" in Arabic. Dubai-based Istithmar Hotels is making sure the word translates globally. Since its launch in April 2006, Istithmar Hotels has packed its portfolio with four strategic hotel acquisitions in New York City, stakes in growing brands and a master franchise agreement with easyHotel that will cover 17 countries. According to Giuseppe "Joe" Sita, Istithmar Hotels' CEO, these moves are just for openers.
