No longer relegated to the "ladies who lunch" crowd, tea time is back in vogue. From traditional afternoon tea to tea service with a modern twist, more and more hotels are exploring the benefits and pleasures of tea. At the Fairmont Royal York in Toronto, for example, afternoon tea is becoming a popular venue for business meetings—so much so that the hotel now is marketing its "wireless tea" service that allows guests to check their e-mail while sipping that Darjeeling or sampling a scone. Served in the hotel's contemporary EPIC lounge, the club ambience is a nice backdrop to mixing business with pleasure.
