Design has become a major driver for renovating and repositioning hotels such as The Grafton on Sunset. Built in the 1950s, this 108-room West Hollywood, California hotel had solid potential that could be unleashed only after the clean-lined architectural shell was gutted and redesigned. Integration of many different types of flooring was an essential part of the trend-setting design concept.
