摘要

As this journal has matured over the years, we have been pleased to have published many peer-reviewed articles on various aspects of risk analysis. And by "risk analysis" I am referring to the triad of risk assessment, risk management, and risk communication. I know that some persons and organizations consider "risk analysis" and "risk assessment" to be synonymous, but for the purposes of this editorial, I have chosen to separate the two terms. My purpose in making this distinction is to convey my feeling that greater attention will be given by HERA to the areas of risk management and risk communication.
