摘要

The purpose of this research is to investigate the contextual relations between the eight fundamental concepts (FCs) of the Management Excellence Model (MEG) and to classify them using the Interpretive Structural Modeling (ISM) methodology, to prioritize the risks associated guided by the risk-based thinking of ISO 9001: 2015. For this, a qualitative research was carried out from a case study in a multinational company which produces cut and folded steel for civil construction. In order to draw up the ISM model proposed, the quality manager of the company studied constructed the contextual relations between the FCs of the MEG. These relations have been reviewed and proven by twelve specialists and researchers. The results suggest that FCs Transformative leadership, Organizational learning and innovation, Adaptability and Guidance by processes have a high power of direction. Thus, the risks associated with them should be prioritized. One of the main benefits of the proposed model is the transformation of the mental model from the FCs of MEG to a visible and structured model which positions the risks and prioritizes them. As a suggestion of future work, the authors suggest that an instrument be created to evaluate how the internal and external customers.
