摘要

You know that it's usually harmless to discuss the latest current events at the office. But talking about some news could fuel sexual harassment lawsuits. Why? Because as you know, not everything in the news is G-rated. Or even PG-rated. The details of the Mark Foley disaster, for example, could lead to an uncomfortable-enough conversation that a worker may complain. Workers have sued in the past for hostile-workplace when conversations about the news, television shows, and other R-rated fare took office conversation too far into the gutter. And making matters work: Some employees circulate news of these events via e-mail and instant message.
