And he said her decision to avoid meat that wasn't slaughtered according to Muslim law was "pathetic." After she complained, she lost her bonuses and her salary was cut. She sued for discrimination and won. Lesson: To keep the holiday peace, remind workers to treat everyone as they would want to be treated themselves while at company holiday functions.
