The approved Fiscal Year 2018-19 Budget for New York State includes measures to address the scourge ofrnsexual harassment that has for too long burdened victims personally, financially and professionally, according tornAssembly Speaker Carl Heastie in an April 2 announcement.rn“The ongoing culture of sexual harassment in the workplace has been a great disservice to hardworking families,rnespecially women,” said Speaker Heastie. “That is why the Assembly Majority made it a priority to includernmeasures in this budget that take much-needed first steps towards empowering victims of harassment andrnholding bad actors accountable.”
