A sample overtime pay policy appears below. The sample should be considered in light of the particulars of yourrnorganization and workforce.It is [Company's] policy and practice to accurately compensate employees and to do so in compliance the FairrnLabor Standards Act (FLSA) and applicable state wage and hour laws. All positions at [Company] are classifiedrnas either exempt or non-exempt in accordance with the applicable legal standards. Employees working inrnpositions classified as exempt are not eligible to receive overtime pay. Employees working in positions classifiedrnas non-exempt are eligible for overtime pay, as provided by the FLSA, state laws, and [Company] policy. If yournhave any questions concerning this policy, please contact Human Resources.
