摘要

An important factor in attracting and retaining quality executives is the company's compensation program. While base salary is of great importance, executive incentives, stock options, stock bonuses and special plans for deferring compensation are equally important.rnAlthough qualified pension and profit-sharing plans are "executive compensation plans" to the extent that executives are covered, the fact that these plans must not discriminate in favor of highly compensated employees prevents their use in providing special incentives for management. For this reason, many special devices have been developed to compensate the executive.
