The Nevada legislature passed and the governor signed last month A.B. 248, a bill to prohibit a settlement agreement from containing provisions that prohibit or restrict a party from disclosing certain information relating to a civil or administrative action, if that action relates to conduct that would otherwise qualify as discrimination on the basis of sex by an employer, or retaliation by an employer for a claim of discrimination (it also applies to certain nonemployment situations as well).
