Concluding the requirements for a preliminary injunction had been satisfied, a federal district court in Californiagranted the State of Oregon a preliminary injunction expanding coverage to the state of Oregon in the ongoingchallenge of religious and moral exemptions to the contraceptive mandate in the Patient Protection andAffordable Care Act (ACA). Oregon successfully argued that the state would experience increased costs if theexemptions went into effect.
