The European Ocean Energy Association has been accepted as a member of the European Renewable Energy Council (EREC), the group announces. The Ocean Energy Association is an organization devoted to promoting hydrokinetic development throughout the EU. Ultimately, the group said, it hopes to leverage at least US($)640 million for the ocean energy sector by 2020.
