Hunt named vice president at Ocean Thermal Energy Corp. Sheldon Hunt, PE, is vice president of operations for Ocean Thermal Energy Corp. (OTE). In this role, he will focus on the installation of seawater district cooling and ocean thermal energy conversion (OTEC) facilities, with emphasis on utility integration, facility construction and maintenance management. Hunt will be based in Honolulu, Hawaii. Before joining OTE, Hunt was a consultant, conducting feasibility studies for OTEC projects in the Pacific, Atlantic and Indian oceans. For 12 years, he served as the primary utility consultant and energy advisor for the U.S. Army in the Pacific Region.
