The Editor's kind invitation to me to submit a Reflections article for publication in Journal No. 100 was very flattering but, as the editorial deadline drew nearer and time started to run out, I decided to decline the invitation. The problem for me was not only that of finding the time to devote to the task o composing the article but also to decide what I should write about and why? Usually my articles are inspired or triggered by 'a happening' which often takes the form of a comment or enquiry from a member about some aspect of the Society's operations.
