Authors should follow these Instructions carefully. All manuscripts and related correspondence from the Corresponding Author to the Editor should be submitted via the online peer review system at https://www. editorialmanager.com/ hydrology/.rnManuscripts that do not meet the high standard of written English expected will be rejected, solely on that basis. If English is not the lead Author's first language, or the lead Author does not have the necessary level of expertise in written English, the work should be checked and corrected by a native English speaker before the manuscript is submitted.
