Look at the balance sheet at the end of the month, your Litho press's are bought and paid for, however film costs are rising again and may leap over 50% this year. Energy costs are spiralling and with the time involved in making plates, the labor and now the associated chemical costs, you could be forgiven for thinking about no longer using Litho to print anything. But, the reality is, that in these economically challenging times, budgets are tight and you must deliver your print in the most economic way possible. With digital printing, every month you pay a click charge or maintenance fee, rarely ever own the equipment and running costs are high.
