摘要

The dispersion relation for surface plasmon-polariton modes of polar semiconductor cylinders has been derived using Bloch hydrodynamic method and the radius dependence of the non-radiative modes has been studied. For small values of cylinder a minimum is observed in the curve. The inclusion of spatial dispersion results in finite life time of the surface polariton modes even in collisionless plasma system.
