Infracor in Marl is the third largest chemical production site in Germany Its fire department required a mam first attack engine that was geared up for any type of incident. Gimaex Schmitz, based in Wilnsdorf, Germany, was selected to build the vehicle. The new fire truck has been equipped with all firefighting tools-powder (PLA 1000), foam (3,0001), CO2 (150kg), water tank (1,5001) and a 10,000 lpm pump. It also has a ladder and basic rescue tools on board, as well as equipment for HazMat operations.
