International Paint is the largest supplier of Epoxy Passive Fire Protection (PFP) solutions to the oil and gas industry in the world. International's Chartek brand has become the industry's most recognised Epoxy PFP with an impressive track record stretching over 35 years. A key segment of the oil and gas industry is the FPSO market (Floating Production, Storage and Offloading vessels) that require significant amounts of fire protection The giant FPSOs built in Korea over the last 10 years, such as Skarv, Pazflor, Akpo, Usan and Agbami, have all been protected with Chartek.
