This year, SLA's John Cotton Dana Award went to Richard Hulser and Sharon Lenius. Hulser, an SLA member for nearly 40 years, co-founded the SLA Gay & Lesbian Issues Caucus and founded the Information Futurists Caucus and the Professional Librarians in Non-Traditional Careers Caucus. Lenius is currently co-chairperson of SLA's Resources Committee of the Military Libraries Community and has served as chairperson of the Military Library Community and director and secretary of the Government Information Community.
