Michael Cairns is the new CEO of Publishing Technology, PLC, a content solutions provider for publishers. Cairns is moving on from his position as the company's COO, which he has held since May 2013. "Michael has already proven himself in his time at the company and I am delighted to be able to promote him to the role of Chief Executive Officer," says Martyn Rose, chairman of Publishing Technology. "His market knowledge and expertise in digital publishing are unquestionable and his appointment gives the business community a leader who will drive the business to deliver the next phase of our strategy."
