Jennifer S. Kutzik is the 2014 winner of the Norman Horrocks-Scarecrow Press Annual Conference Award, which is presented by ALA's Retired Members Round Table (RMRT). After a 39-year career as a library and information professional, Kutzik retired on June 30, 2011, from Colorado State University Libraries. She is currently the webmaster and newsletter co-editor for ALA's Library Support Staff Interests Round Table and is a member of the ALA-APA Library Support Staff Certification Review Committee. The award is given in honor of the late Norman Horrocks, who was active in ALA during his career and retirement. It grants up to $1,000 for a recipient to attend ALA's annual conference.
