摘要

As Information Today's Database Review columnist, I'm always looking for ways to enlighten you, my dedicated readers. Usually this means informing you about some database that might be of interest or use to you; this is pos-itive information. But, sometimes, this may mean informing you about some database that is neither interesting nor useful to you; this is negative information. And-truth be told -we all want the latter more than the former. When I give a database a positive review, it subtly obliges you to consider it; or in other words, it's one more thing to do when you're already too busy. When it's a negative review, you happily conclude that you don't have to waste your precious time on it, which is a great relief; it's always nice to have one less thing to do. It's similar to having a reverse bucket list.
