The Special Libraries Association (SLA) announced its newly elected board of directors for 2010. After member elections closed on Oct. 1, the following winners were announced:rnThe 2010 president-elect is Cindy Romaine, principal of Romainiacs Intelligence Research, who will serve a 3-year term. Her recent background includesrnwork in her own company specializing in information consulting services and in-depth research for enterprise clients. Before that, she spent 16 years at Nike, Inc. as the director of the design library and corporate archivist. She has also served as an SLA board director, as chair of the Public Relations Advisory Council, and as a member of the Professional Values Task Force.
