Columbia University Libraries announced the appointment of Rebecca Kennison as director of the new Center for Digital Research and Scholarship. In this position, she will work with faculty, researchers, and various library programs and centers to enhance the use of new media and digital technologies in research and scholarly communications of the university. Prior to this, Kennison was director of content services for Healthline Networks. Before that, she was director of production at the Public Library of Science. She has also held positions at SilverPlatter Education, Cell Press, and Blackwell Publishing, Inc.
