The authors are a group of students from JH3 of the Integrated Programme at National Junior College (NJC), Singapore. "Slime Pantomime" is a botanical project initiated by NJC and done in collaboration with students from Waseda University Honjo Senior High School in Japan. This project entered the School-based Science Mentorship Programme 2009 and clinched the Gold Award at the Youth Science Conference. In the same year, it was showcased in the Rits Super Science Fair, organised by Ritsumeikan Senior High School held in Kyoto, Japan. Furthermore, it was presented at the International Science Youth Forum 2010 held at Hwa Chong Institution.
