'You missed a great conference'. This is a phrase I repeated to friends across the global legal KM community in the days following Ark's recent KM Legal 2011 conference in London. This article is for those friends (and for others who did not attend the event) and offers my personal 'takeaways' from the many thought-provoking presentations and discussions. A character of all the sessions was openness; a willingness on the part of contributors to share their personal views and talk about work in progress, in terms of current challenges and projects. There was also a great sense of energy over the two days. When I chaired this event in 2010, many presentations were exploratory and reflective on KM's role in external sourcing and internal process efficiency projects.
