The U.S. dollar might be at all-time highs versus other - developed-markets currencies, but one advocacy group isn't accepting the tender at face value. New York-based Women on 20s aims to put a woman on the $20 bill - a first for U.S. paper currency - by 2020. One of its reasons for banishing ex-president Andrew Jackson, the bill's current tenant: He opposed the idea of central banks. Why replace Jackson with a woman? "There are monuments of allegorical women such as the Statue of Liberty, but it's hard to come by ones of actual women," notes Susan Ades Stone, the group's executive director. The public can vote for three choices from a short list of 15 at WomenOn20s.org; the winner of a second round goes to President Barack Obama for consideration.
