The roulette wheel of Russian securities is no longer red or black. Momentum from commodity exports, which have boosted annual GDP growth close to 7 percent for the past seven years, is spreading to industries that produce domestic growth. Companies in the banking, consumer and electricity sectors have seen their share prices double in the past two years, and a rush of new flota- tions from these industries in 2007 is expected finally to turn local securities into a buyer's market.
