As part of its policy of boosting the prospects of the civil aviation sector in India, the Government of India has decided to allow private non scheduled airlines to tie up with the full fledged scheduled carriers to enable them take up passenger booking. Right at the moment, non scheduled airlines are barred from publishing their flight schedules and this bars them from code sharing with regular carriers like Jet Airways and Kingfisher.
