Sikorsky has been one of the first few manufacturers to look at India as an export partner. And working on this objective, they partnered with TATA last year in order to manufacture the S-92 Cabin Fuselage for exports. In a chat with the Show Daily Stephen Estill, VP, Strategic Partnerships, Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation informed that the first assembly of the cabin from that partnership was complete and will be shipped in November this year for the commercial and military programs in the US. Sikorsky is also working with TATA on a pilot program to prove their processes for the composite materials for the Black Hawk parts.
