At the advent of the New Year, Lufthansa Technik AG has reorganised its international maintenance business, and has bundled it since 1 January 2009 under Lufthansa Technik Maintenance International (LTMI). This new 100-per cent subsidiary of Lufthansa Technik has a workforce of approximately 1000 employees, making it a proven competence center for maintenance services for customers outside Lufthansa Passage. LTMI's home base is at Frankfurt Airport, where it utilises the infrastructure of the former Lufthansa Technik subsidiary Condor/Cargo Technik (CCT) that constitutes the basis for the new company.
