In-house counsel facing an impending energy investor/state dispute can avoid significant cost and complications by strategic thinking from the outset. This article highlights 10 of the key steps in tactical planning for businesses or investors considering potential litigation or arbitration in the energy sector. Any one of these topics is worthy of detailed consideration in its own right, but for the purposes of this article is presented in outline only.
