Montenegrin power utility Elektro-privreda Crne Gore (EPCG) and its Serbian counterpart Elektroprivreda Srbije (EPS) will finalize next year, documentation for the construction of a 170 MW hydro plant on the river Komarnica. EPCG and EPS have agreed to set up a joint working group to harmonize provisions of the new annex to the existing contract on the joint implementation of the Komarnica project, as well as with preparing complete documents necessary to go ahead with the work, EPCG announced recently. The statement was issued following a meeting held in Belgrade, Serbia, between senior executives of the two state-controlled utilities, including Srdan Kovacevic, the Chairman of EPCG's board of directors, and Milorad Grcic, acting General Manager of EPS, and Marina Andrijasevic, representative of the Ministry of Mining and Energy of Serbia.
