This listing of the world's CFRDs (＞30 m high) was originally compiled and regularly updated by the late J. Barry Cooke, who passed away in 2006. He was renowned worldwide for his expertise in the field of rockfill dams, particularly CFRDs. We are now grateful for the collaboration and assistance from Dr C. Marulanda and colleagues at Ingetec, Colombia, as well as other individuals in the industry who have contributed updates. We have also added dams which appear in individual country reports. The dams are listed according to their completion date or construction/planning status. The key to abbreviations is given below.
