Some new technologies have been invented, and so-called traditional ones like hydropower have been developed significantly in various ways.rnSmall hydro is a resource which is available worldwide; it serves in many countries as the backbone of renewables and its reliability is exceptional. Small hydro has already proved its qualities in terms of very high efficiency and balanced availability. For countries having the source of rivers, small hydropower represents a treasure, which is very often underestimated.
