摘要

This book presents the author's extensive experience in applying lean in the context of liquid and chemical industries. In discussing his insights on the application of lean in the process industry, the author uses the four measures of lean as defined by the Shingo Award: business results, consistent lean enterprise culture, continuous process improvement, and cultural enablers. These four measures represent the author's view that pursuing a change towards a lean culture is of not only copying the lean methods but also addressing the soft-side of an organisation.
