摘要

The discussed paper presented the results of a series of analytical tests conducted on single degree of freedom (SDOF) flag-shaped (FS) hysteretic systems with seismic fuses, as varying system parameters. These systems have recently developed for use in the high seismic-resistance structures. The discusser has been studying similar research topics on self-recentering systems incorporated with new smart materials and thus greatly appreciate author's meaningful work. Therefore, some findings are very interesting to the discusser and are significantly worthy of further research interaction.
