摘要

Poetry represents a valuable domain for AI, exemplifying fund amental aspects of creativity which, in the view of proponent s of Lady Lovelace's objection that computers can do nothin g original, focus strongly the differences between machines an d humans. Poetry also exemplifies hard problems of practica 1 AI, in natural language generation, expressive speech and no n-verbal behaviour. We think that this workshop will provide s trong opportunities for synergies amongst both researchers an d practitioners in AI, Literature, Performance Arts, Philosoph y and Psychology.
