For an industry that has a reputation for being traditionally staid, the elec-tricity supply market has certainly m made monumental changes over recent years. Development of worldwide markets over 25 years has been evolutionary, but the pace of that change has picked up in the last decade. Privatisation has seen to that. And as the sophistication of liberalised sectors increases it is interesting to look back and see exactly how far the power industry has come.
