Vrasidas and Glass have compiled a useful book that considers many points of view and many relevant themes about technology and education. This would be a useful book for the reader who wishes to gain insight into research that is needed in the field, as well as to gain a wider view of current perspectives of distance education and distributed learning. By far, this is one of the more advanced volumes about distance education. The book is a "must read" for educators and researchers involved in distance education.
