Russia's defence-industrial base is continuing its consolidation process, with Rostec announcing on 5 April that the strategy for the company's Armaments cluster had been approved. As part of the strategy, Rostec is looking to boost the commercial revenues of the cluster from current levels of less than 15% to 25% by 2025. For RT-Chem-composite the firm is looking to boost commercial revenues from 50% to 80% in the same timeframe. High Precision Systems - which manufactures a range of generators, pumps, pistons, and meteorological products -will see its target set at 7% of revenues by 2025. This can be attributed to the company's significant presence in the air defence and gunnery market, where there is little cross-over with commercial systems.
