The US Army has awarded General Dynamics, Harris Corporation, and Rockwell Collins a potential USD12.725 billion 10-year indefinite delivery/ indefinite quantity contract for the procurement of two-channel handheld, manpack, and small form fit (HMS) tactical radios. "That dollar amount [which has a ceiling of USD12.725 billion] includes hardware, field service support, warranties, and test support cost estimates for the life of the programme," a US Army spokesperson told IHS Jane's.
