Airbus has agreed to sell AXIO-NET to Trimble, the company announced on 1 August. Terms of the deal were not disclosed. AXIO-NET provides global navigation satellite system services to several European countries, including Germany and the United Kingdom. The company does not work with any one brand of satellite system, which gives it flexibility to compete in a range of markets. Although much of the company's work has centred on commercial markets, it also has some defence exposure.
