摘要

Japan and South Korea have "tentatively signed" a pact that will permit the sharing of military intelligence, a spokesman for South Korea's Ministry of National Defense (MND) told IHS Jane's on 15 November. "This agreement will provide us with additional information on North Korea's nuclear weapons and missile situation," the official said. The spokesman added that further talks will take place before the two sides formally conclude the General Security of Military Information Agreement (GSOMIA), possibly before the end of November.
