As US authorities continue to investigate and carry out prosecutions in the Glenn Defense Marine Asia (GDMA) corruption case, the US Navy (USN) is rolling out new business practices to prevent fraud in its port services contracts. In his first public statement about the GDMA scandal, Secretary of the Navy Ray Mabus acknowledged that there could be additional USN personnel implicated in the investigation, which was initiated by the navy in 2010 and became public in September 2013 with the case's initial arrests.
