The United Kingdom's 2010 Strategic Defence and Security Review (SDSR) failed to provide a strategic overview of the UK's defence position and this needs to be rectified in the upcoming 2015 SDSR, according to a new report by an influential Parliamentary committee. "In our opinion the previous review was not, despite its title, strategic," the Defence Select Committee states in its report: 'Towards the next Defence and Security Review: Part One'.
